This 1000ft gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is also called Morocco’s Grand Canyon. There you have enough time to explore the gorge, from its plunging depths to dizzying heights. The charm of Todra lies in its changing colors as the sun slowly moves from east to that flows through it giving life to a huge variety of colorful fruit, nut trees, and extraordinary red rock formations.

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, and then, continue our journey through the valley of  The Dades Valley and Rose Valley ”Valleys of Thousand Kasbah”. Overnight and Dinner in Dades Gorges.

Then, head to visit the old house of the PashaLaglaoui, the Pasha of Marrakech, the Kasbah Taourirt maybe this is the first world heritage Kasbah that you visit.

Later, we drive to explore one of the wonders of southern Morocco; the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a large fortified village, declared as world heritage by UNESCO since 1987 and a site that still attracts movies makers and directors from all over the world.

Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour - more heritage, culture and history

Meet your guide and driver at the lobby of the hotel for an explorative guided city tour of Marrakech, a journey full of heritage, culture, and history.

Explore the red city, founded in the 11th century by the Almoravid Sultan Youssef Ben Tachafine, Marrakesh becomes the capital of the Kingdom; it is enriched with great constructions before knowing, under the Alawites, a more secondary role.

Called "the Red City" or "the Pearl of the South", Marrakech is a fascinating city. It enchants visitors with its contrasting colors: ocher earth color of its homes, green of the palm grove, and white snow-capped mountains of the Atlas, as well as its remarkable world heritage monuments and huge shady gardens. Berbers and Arabs meet here, the nomads and mountaineers converge here, the goods are overflowing, and the craftsmanship shines here, below palaces, casinos, hotels, and gulfs; which make it an essential complement to a stay of great quality. Marrakech is indeed the capital of southern Morocco!

Visit the main monuments of the city: the gardens of Majorelle, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Badia Palace, the souks, and the medina. Then, enjoy a cup of mint tea on a terrace overlooking the live square and the beaten heart of Marrakech; JemaaLafna Square where your Marrakech city tour will end.

Nb: depending on your flight time we will drive to Casablanca or Marrakech airport to reach your return flight.
